PALM COAST, Fla. -- Flagler County Sheriff's detectives need the public's help in identifying two suspects involved in a burglary at Palm Coast home earlier this month.

The two individuals were caught on video surveillance as they broke into a home on Covington Lane, according to Public Information Officer Debra Johnson with the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

The video released by the sheriff's office shows a black or dark blue, late 1990s model Ford Expedition with chrome mirrors driving by the house around 3:15 p.m. The driver then parked the Expedition in front of the house.

In the video a white woman with dark hair tied in a pony tail and wearing a brown tank top and blue jeans approaches the front door where she remains for a short time before returning to the Ford. A thin, white man with short dark hair appeared from the driver side and walked to the right side of the house. He was wearing a "Famous" shirt, jean type shorts and black sneakers. He also had gloves on and was carrying a pry tool in his hand.

The man made entered through the bathroom window and exited about four minutes later, carrying a black box and quickly made his way back onto Covington Lane.

A husband and wife were home when the burglary took place, Johnson said.

The husband was sleeping in the master bedroom and his wife had just come back from their pool at the back of the house.

The woman told Flagler County deputies she entered her guest bathroom to change clothes and noticed the bottom part of the window was open.

She thought her husband might have been cleaning, but then noticed a door to a third bedroom that is normally open was closed, according the police report.

When she went to open it and found it was locked, she alerted her husband. The husband kicked open the locked bedroom but didn't find anyone inside.  The blinds were swinging in the window and the screen was pushed out, according to FCSO. The couple checked for property stolen and noticed a black box that contained checkbooks, two watches, cash and keys to a vehicle was missing from the kitchen counter.

Anyone who has information on this incident or who can identify the man or the vehicle in this video is asked to contact Crimestoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS (8477). You may remain anonymous and you could be eligible for a reward up $1,000.
