JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Our news partner The Florida Times-Union reports that Joseph Belechak, who was picked in July to run JEA, has turned down the job.
Belechak, a former senior vice president of Westinghouse Electric, made the announcement to JEA board chairman Ashton Hudson.
On Wednesday, Hudson told the Times-Union Belechak decided to stay in Pittsburg because of his strong family ties to the area.
