JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A new case of the West Nile virus has been confirmed in Duval County.
The Duval County Health Department reported that a 79-year-old woman has been diagnosed with the mosquito-borne illness. One person died from it two weeks. That makes nine confirmed cases this year in the Duval County area.
