3rd grade FCAT scores reflect expected drop

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- FCAT scores for third grade reading and math were released by the Florida Department of Education on Thursday, and the scores show the state's third graders to be "on target" in light of creating higher standards from 2011 to 2012, the Department said in a release.
