JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Tyler Wilt, a teen athlete from West Virginia who has faced cancer, got to meet an athlete who is an inspiration to him.

Through Jacksonville-based Dreams Come True's partnership with the Tim Tebow Foundation's W15H program, Wilt got to meet New York Jets QB Tebow prior to and after this Sunday's home game against the Buffalo Bills at MetLife Stadium.

Wilt played high school football and baseball until May 2012, when he started having breathing problems. X-rays found that Wilt had a tumor in his chest, which was displacing his left lung. The tumor was removed in August and he is under observation to see if chemotherapy is needed.
