STARKE, Fla. -- An air defense exercise taking place at Camp Blanding will increase aircraft flights at the base.

The exercise is scheduled to run from June 18 through 22.

Multiple low-level flights on and around the post will take place during the exercise.

Both civilian and military planes will participate in the training.

The aircraft will be making high-speed approaches to and from Camp Blanding.

The Florida National Guard is making every effort to minimize noise or distractions.  If you live near the training center and would like to discuss concerns, you may contact Camp Blanding's Range Control Office at 904-682-3121 or the Florida National Guard Public Affairs Office at 904-823-0166.
