LAKE CITY, Fla. -- Around 4 p.m. Wednesday, deputies with the Columbia County Sheriff's Office and firefighters from the Columbia County Fire Department were called to a vehicle fire.
When emergency personnel arrived in the 300 block of Satellite Lane, in Lake City they found a Ford mini van fully engulfed in flames.
The van was in the yard of a residence.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire quickly, and even recruited the help of Deputy Sheriff Scott Staley. Deputy Staley assisted the Columbia County Fire Department by moving the fire hose and helped to extinguish the fire.
There were no injuries as a result of the blaze and there were no structures damaged by the fire.
The cause of the fire is currently known.
