Seminole fans not happy with possible new logo

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Has the new Florida State University logo been leaked? Pictures have surfaced of an updated logo seen on t-shirts at Walmart.

The school has teased a change to tradition in a video called "4-11-14". April 11 is the day before the Seminoles play their spring game in Tallahassee, and presumably the day the school was going to release a new logo.

FSU's vice president for university relations told ESPN hat the biggest change would be a slight alteration to the shade of garnet used, and a spokesperson for the Seminole Tribe of Florida said that the university got approval from the tribe for the changes.

Before Florida State could unveil the logo itself, though, a new logo was spotted by a Tomahawk Nation reader in a Walmart store. Florida State has not yet confirmed that this the official updated logo. Florida State assistant athletic director Elliott Finebloom told For the Win that the athletics department has no comment on anything related to the logo until the Ignition Tradition event on April 11th.

Seminole fans are not happy with the change.
