SCLC rallies at the Capitol against "Stand Your Ground"

Groups still unhappy with Florida's "Stand Your Ground" laws are speaking out against them.

The Southern Christian Leadership Conference organization took to the Capitol in Tallahassee Tuesday to voice their concerns.

They joined a group of others to speak up about Florida's controversial "Stand Your Ground" and other gun laws.

They called on lawmakers and themselves to get into the community to help make a difference.

" My momma said don't talk about it, be about it and we need to be the change we want to see and we can do it, we owe it to our children," said Derrick Smith, a Tallahassee resident.

The group rallied for changes in "Stand Your Ground," community violence and immigration reform.
