Donald Trump criticizes Fla. Gov. on Twitter

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- As Florida comes closer to settling a gambling agreement with the Seminole tribe, a big name is weighing in...Donald Trump.

Thursday morning he tweeted:

He's referring to the states gambling agreement with the Seminole tribe of Fla. The deal ends next year and the governor is working on a plan.

Trump went on to tweet:

Representative Halsey Beshears' district has a large parimutuel greyhound track.

"If we're going to tackle any new gaming laws including the compact as well as destination resorts, all that is going to be tied in together with the legislature," said Beshears, R - Monticello.

Trump's dissatisfied tweets probably refer to the Seminole tribe wanting more in the next deal, which could come down to games they can offer, exclusive rights and how much money Florida will receive.

Democrats say they need to be on board for a deal to pass.

"We're encouraging the governor, we're encouraging our colleagues in both the house and senate to make sure we're at the table," said Rep. Alan Williams, D - Tallahassee.

As for Trump's tweets, he donated money to Rick Scott's "Lets Get to Work" organization, which may show why he's adding in his two cents.

A spokesman for the governor declined an on camera interview but sent this statement: "With the gaming compact set to expire in 2015, we will take the time needed to get the best deal for Floridians."
