Amendment 12 would change the way the state selects the student representative on the state university system's Board of Governors.
A "yes" vote means you want the state to create a new council of university student Presidents where the student representative to the Board of Governors will be selected from.
A "no" vote means you want to keep the current system of electing the student representative to the Board of Governors.
