Florida voters disapprove of Gov. Scott's performance

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida voters continue to disapprove of Gov. Rick Scott's job performance.

A new poll from Fox News shows 39 percent approve, while 49 percent disapprove.

Independent voters stack up the same way: 39 percent approve while 48 percent disapprove.

Gov. Scott is less popular with women voters. They don't like his job performance by a 52 percent to 34 percent margin. Men disapprove 46 percent to 45 percent.

Voters over the age of 65 are the only demographic group to approve of Scott's performance. They approve by a 45 percent to 40 percent margin.

The poll was conducted from September 16-18 and has a margin of error of three points.
