JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Six area nonprofit organizations are partnering to host candidate forums that serve to inform the public about the school board elections on August 14.
The forums are the result of a partnership between Jacksonville Public Education Fund, WJCT, Save Duval Schools, Duval County Council of PTAs, Jacksonville Kids Coalition, and the Jacksonville Urban League.
The schedule for the candidate forums is as follows:
District 7 - 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 24, Atlantic Coast High School
District 1 - 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Thursday, July 26, Terry Parker High School
District 5 - 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, William Raines High School
District 3 - 7 p.m.-9 p.m., Thursday, August 2, Englewood High School
