Duval County absentee ballots have been mailed

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Voters who have registered to receive an absentee ballot from the Duval County Supervisor of Elections Office should keep an eye on their mailbox.

The supervisor's office so far has mailed 39,250 Domestic vote by mail ballots for the Primary Election, which is August 14.

The last day to register to vote in the Primary Election is July 16.

Voters must return their vote by mail ballot to the Supervisor of Elections Office by 7 p.m. on election day. A prepaid postage return envelope is included in all vote by mail ballots.

If you requested a vote by mail ballot but choose to participate in early voting, you must return your vote by mail ballot to the early voting location or your election day precinct in order to cast a regular ballot.

Voters can track their vote by mail ballot by clicking on the Vote by Mail tab on the Duval County Supervisor of Elections website.  You can also call the office at 904-630-1414.

The supervisor's office last month mailed out 2,650 vote by mail ballots to overseas and military voters who requested absentee ballots.
