Duval County Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland says he will be hosting delegates from 20 countries Tuesday.
VISIT POLITICAL FLORIDA FOR GOP PRESIDENTIAL RACE COVERAGE
The delegates are visiting Jacksonville to study how federal, state and local governance is structured in the United States.
The visitors will tour Duval County's election center at 5200-2 Norwood Avenue in the Gateway Mall and precipitate in a discussion on the impact of Florida's GOP presidential primary as well as study other caucuses for the upcoming presidential election.
"We are encouraging Democracy through the world and we look forward to sharing the electoral process with this honored group of delegates from around the world," Holland said.
Visiting dignitaries will include Golam Mostafa, a Member of Parliament from Bangladesh; Naga City, Philippines Mayor John Bongat and Yehiel Bar, the Secretary General of Israel's Labor Party, according to Holland's office.
