Man robs Atlantic Coast Federal Bank, no one injured

The man walked into a bank with a gun and demanded cash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a reported bank robbery on the westside of town. 

According to police, at about 9:45 a.m. on Thursday a man in his late 20’s, 5’8”-5-10”, thin build, wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants entered the Atlantic Coast Bank located at 8048 Normandy Blvd, displayed a handgun and demanded money. 

Police say the teller complied and handed the suspect the money.  After receiving the money the suspect was last seen leaving on foot, eastbound.

 

No injuries were reported and no customers were in the bank at the time of the incident.
