Man going 115 mph crashes with 1-year-old in backseat

Thirty-one-year-old Kenneth Johnson is facing charges of culpable negligence and reckless driving after he allegedly crashed into a pole on State Road 13 near County Road 305 Tuesday night. At the time, a St. Johns County Sheriff's deputy was pursuing Johnson after the deputy's radar showed Johnson's vehicle traveling at 115 mph in a 55 zone. At the time of the crash, Johnson's one-year-old daughter was in a car seat in the backseat. The child was uninjured in the crash. Johnson was taken to the Orange Park Medical Center.
