Clay detectives make arrests in drug sweep

MIDDLEBURG, Fla. -- The Clay County Sheriff's Office located and took into custody on Tuesday 30 in a drug sweep, and seven more on Wednesday. A total of 26 suspects out of 48 that were being sought were apprehended. Four additional suspects that were not on the original list were arrested on probable cause on Tuesday afternoon. Seven more that remained of the original 48 were arrested Wednesday, making for a total of 37 arrested so far, according to CCSO spokesperson Mary Justino.
