BOSTWICK, Fla. -- Over a dozen men are in jail after the Putnam County Sheriff's Office concluded a five-month investigation into a series of burglaries. During the investigation the sheriff's office established a Burglary Task Force to help counteract any further burglaries, according to a news release. Their investigation showed the burglaries occurred during the daylight hours and each time the thieves used force to enter the home. The release said the people arrested allegedly took firearms, electronics, jewelry, paper documents and safes. The release said the warrants are for armed burglary, grand theft of a firearm, grand theft and dealing in stolen property.
