Sandy's effects being felt along East coast

Hurricane Sandy, a storm of enormous size, is projected to make landfall on the New Jersey coast Monday afternoon. Forecast to bring wings in excess of 75 miles per hour and rainfall totals in the double digits, nine states and the District of Columbia already declared states of emergency.
