Volkswagen has finally taken the wraps off the 2013 Beetle Convertible. The first Beetle convertible was the type 14, introduced in 1949. Unlike it's sibling, the Eos retractable hardtop, the Beetle sticks with a traditional soft top with the iconic stack in the back, although it's not nearly as high, still allowing for good visibility. Pricing hasn't been announced yet but it's expected to be in showrooms before the end of the year. - Related: 2013 Beetle gets its groove on with Fender Edition
