JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It was an outpouring of community support that enabled the Trinity Rescue Mission's food giveaway to take place Monday morning. Friday the mission said a logistical problem had prevented their normal donor from delivering the food donation they needed for Monday's giveaway. A call for help went out, and the community responded. Daniel Riddick, Director of Communications for Trinity Rescue Mission, said so many people donated they had more food than normal. The food was used to help feed over 300 families on the First Coast.
