'The Dark Knight Rises' New York premiere

NEW YORK -- The final installment of the iconic Batman trilogy opens Friday, and it's safe to say the movie will be a hit. Perhaps most notably, in a time where everything seems to be up for grabs online, plot details - save for David Letterman's possible slip-up - remain top-secret. The few things that we, having seen the film, can safely reveal are scant. Bale's Bruce Wayne/Batman is a recluse. Hathaway's Selina Kyle/Catwoman is an adroit jewel thief with her own code of ethics. Gordon-Levitt is a Gotham cop, along with Oldman's Jim Gordon, grappling with a new threat in the form of Hardy's fearsome Bane.
