Homicide Investigators Respond to Baymeadows Shooting

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Homicide investigators from the Jacksonville Sheriff's office are on the scene in the 8700 block of Harpers Glen Court in Baymeadows. Police at the scene tell First Coast News they were called to the neighborhood shortly after 9:30 Friday morning after residents reported hearing gunshots. When police arrived they found one person deceased inside the home and a male outside with gunshot wounds. That man has been taken to Shands Jacksonville.
