ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- Deputy Melanie Russell and her K-9 Kahlua are credited with finding more than 50 missing people during their time as partners for the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office. Kahlua is set to retire next year, so a non-profit organization called 832 Deputy Dogs donated a new bloodhound to Deputy Russell and the Sheriff's Office. This month, Deputy Russell is organizing a race to give back to 832. The Deputy Dogs Dash will be held on May 27 in Crescent Beach.
