JACKSONVILLE, FL -- You could not ask for better weather on this Thanksgiving Eve.
We have partly cloudy skies with highs near 81. The normal high this time of year is 72.
We will be in the upper 70s for Thanksgiving day, but there is a rub.
A cold front will move in and bring some showers for the holiday.
This front is part of the same system that spread snow from Denver to near Chicago.
We won't see snow, but showers are a good bet for Thursday afternoon and evening
A thunderstorm or two is possible, but not anything severe.
Friday the front is south of the area. High temps will be 8-10 degrees cooler than Thursday. Look for partly cloudy skies and winds out of the northeast. With a slight chance for rain Saturday, high temps rise to 72 by Sunday.
