JACKSONVILLE, FL -- We have a cold front settling off to our south. Showers and some rumbles will only slowly taper off from west to east as we go through the night.

Drier air is moving in from the north and west. The biggest impact is near Waycross and Lake City, where winds are from the north and the temperatures will drop well into the 50's. The southern end of the system did produce a funnel cloud near New Port Richey early this morning. Thursday will be much drier for Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. By the weekend, easterly winds will carry moisture inland, and we may see rain at the Florida /Georgia game. High temperatures will be 70s.
