SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif. -- As the body thirsts, so does the soul. So why drink regular drinking water when you can partake in a more blessed beverage? Bottled Holy drinking water is bottled in Stockton, California and blessed by priests from southern California.

It's the brainchild of Brian Germann, a high tech executive by trade. Holy Drinking Water has now become a hit. About 3,000 bottles of Holy Drinking Water have been sold since it went on the market three months ago.

"I purchased three bottles. I haven't used them yet. I'm saving them for some blessed it occasion to happen," said Julie Hyske.

Julie Hyske is a believer but she choice something more secular to spit today.

"Well it was on sale so the price was right. I'll take my chances," said Julie Hyske.

Not everyone was ready to receive the Holy Drinking Water. And sinners clearly take their chances with this divine drink. The label clearly issues warnings for evildoers.

"Well I figure I could bless everything around my home and where I work and things like that," said one consumer.

And how can one be truly sure that this is really holy water blessed by a member of the clergy?

"I guess you would have to have a little bit of faith," said Brian Germann.

...a little faith and 99 cents.
