ORANGE PARK, FL -- How much time do you waste looking for something in your purse?

Well an Orange Park woman wants to help you cut that time out completely with the Purse Pleaser.

Terri Newton's new invention is a lightweight departmental organizer designed to secure the items women carry around like lipstick, cell phones or compacts.

Each item has its own cubby hole. The purse pleaser can be moved from one purse to another in seconds. It fits most average size purses and a smaller and larger prototype is currently in the works.

It measures 8.5 inches in length, 3 1/4 inches wide and 3.5 inches tall.

Terri is taking the Purse Pleaser to an inventor's trade show this week in Pittsburgh. She hopes she will get her big break.

But before it goes national, we stopped by the Orange Park mall to see what locals thought of the invention.

"I think it would be nice so you wouldn't have to rummage through it or take it off your shoulder," says Jennifer Farrell.

Nancy Smith who arrived at the mall with five children says her purse is fine the way it is. "The smaller the purse the less you have in there," she says.

Once Terri finds a buyer and distributor, she plans to sell the Purse Pleaser for around $20.
