ST JOHNS COUNTY, FL -- It could be Kansas or Texas, but, the small country store surrounded by farm land is actually St. Johns County, Florida. The perfect place, says Rick Ambrose, for a Hollywood movie producer in the middle of winter.
"This is really great weather and it's really good for shooting. They're loving it here," said Ambrose.
Ambrose is a location scout for the movie "Moving Mcallister" which is due out at the end of the year. He's says Hollywood is quickly learning about the versatility of the First Coast.
The movie's plot centers around a cross country trip from Miami to Los Angeles, and St. Johns County is mimicking several states.
The movie stars Mila Kunis from "That '70s Show," Ben Gourley, and Joe Heder from "Napoleon Dynamite."
