JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Downtown Jacksonville's SuperFest is expected to bring tens-of-thousands of people to the streets next week. One of the major "SuperFest" hot-spots will use a high-tech approach to keep you safe.

The Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville will use an Age Band Electronic System to combat underage drinking. A swipe your ID and a wrist ban prints with your name on it.

The machines will be manned with a person to verify it's your state driver's license or ID that links to the state's Department of Motor Vehicle records.

It also gives party goers a cashless payment system. The band is like having an ATM on your wrist according to Jacksonville Suns' President, Peter Bragan Jr. "The wrist band scans and deducts the amount you paid for," Bragan says. "It gives you the running total."
