JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The 15-year-old boy, charged as being an accessory after the fact in the murder of Linda Wilkes and her son Jay-Quan Mosley, had his first appearance in court Friday morning.

The boy's mother cried softly as Judge Peter Fryfield ordered the teen to remain in jail until a second court appearance May 17th.

Outside of the courtroom the mother of the teen cried uncontrollably, saying, "I hate him," referring to Mosley.

The Northside neighborhood where the family lives was shocked at the news of his arrest, and surprised a young boy was involved in such a high-profile murder investigation.
