NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. -- The Mega Millions winner who bought a ticket at Neptune Beach has stepped forward, and is a familiar face to the Florida Lottery.
Atlantic Beach resident Linda Branch bought the $1.2 million winner at Winn-Dixie, and was the only winner.
Branch chose the one-time payment, so she'll receive a check for more than $880,000 before taxes.
Branch used a common strategy to get the uncommon results.
"All the numbers represent my kids' birthdays," she said.
Branch's strategy has paid off before.
Years ago, she also won Fantasy 5.
