JACKSONVILLE, FL -- More than 100 people turned out at the Bookmark in Atlantic Beach on Saturday to buy up the first copies of news anchor Donna Deegan's new book, "Through Rose Colored Glasses, A Marathon From Fear to Love."
Deegan's book chronicles her third diagnosis with the disease two years ago, just before her inaugural 26.2 With Donna, the National Marathon to Fight Breast Cancer.
It provides a unique take on the way we view cancer and other life struggles.
Proceeds benefit the race foundation which funds breast cancer research at the Mayo Clinic and the critical needs of financially challenged women with breast cancer through The Donna Foundation.
