Reports on Unemployment, Manufacturing Due

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A busy week for Wall Street is on tap, with plenty of key economic reports upcoming. The rush begins tomorrow with consumer confidence due from the Conference Board as well as a reading in home prices.

A revision of second quarter growth is scheduled for Wednesday.

Personal income and spending is on tap for Thursday as well as the Institute for Supply Management manufacturing index. Construction spending and weekly jobless claims are also due then.

Friday, the Labor Department reports on the September employment situation. Analysts predict the jobless rate will rise to 9.8 percent.
