
JACKSONVILLE, FL -- A six hour standoff in came to a peaceful end this morning. It all started around 2 a.m. at a home near Fourth and Davis Streets.
Police say the armed man eventually decided to come out of his home and surrender to police.
A spokesperson says no shots were fired.
The man was wanted for warrants from an aggravated battery and assault. That incident happened this morning with the brother of the man inside.
Neighbors who were evacuated are now being allowed back to their homes.
