JACKSONVILLE, FL -- For the first time we get to see the six men and six women who make up our final 12 in First Coast's Biggest Loser contest.
The peppy group came to our studios to meet their trainers from Bailey's gym, their nutritionists from Memorial, and Biggest Loser star from the network show, Julie Hadden.
Our finalists are fired up, no doubt. We have some characters, too, who should make this contest quite interesting.

The contestants will compete for three months to see who can lose the highest percentage of body weight.
The project continues the effort by First Coast News, "Kick It Up First Coast," to fight obesity.
