ORANGE PARK,FL -- Jen Willis and Nicole Smith were active members of the Orange Park Physicians Weight Loss Center.

"I had just renewed my contract and no one said anything," says Willis. So, she called Nicole Smith, who was at work.

Smith says," I was in shock. I could not work so I had to get up and walk around my desk."

Smith had recently renewed her contract. The renewal fee is $100, plus the cost of supplies.

"I called the corporate office because I didn't know what was going on," says Willis.

After that, she received a call from Robin Tracy, a former managing member. "Ms.Tracy said they will make refunds when they can," says WIllis.

Philip Grom of Health Management Group said they were unaware that the Orange Park location was no longer viable until a client called this week

Robin Tracy, ex-wife of Dr. Michael Tracy and a former managing member in the business, says she is trying to make could with her clients. Tracy says, "We will make refunds when we can and those who signed up last will be first to get refunds. I can't say when."

Tracy says the business was losing money and facing IRS tax liens so in her words, "We had to close to stop the bleeding."

The corporate office says the clients are its priority while it can identify a new franchisee.

Clients can call 1-800-205-7887 x 113 for continued support.
