JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Do your children have all the proper immunizations in time for the start of school?

It's an important part of the school year preparations, and required whether your child attends private or public school.

This morning on Good Morning Jacksonville, News Anchors Phil Amato and Joy Purdy were joined by Margaret Varnadore, Immunizations Program Director of the Duval County Health Department.

She shared with the morning team which immunizations students need to have before their first day of class, and the ages to which the vaccines apply.

She also talked about the swine flu (H1N1), and how you can have your child immunized for free.

Check out her live interview segments here on this web page.

For more information about immunizations, check out www.immunizeflorida.com; it's part of the Florida Health Department's website.
