JACKSONVILLE, FL -- You might think sorority girls on a college campus would have their minds on classes or dates or school loans or anything but raising money for somebody else.
But not the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority members at UNF in Jacksonville.
They've been collecting Buddy Bucks for our Mammogram Hotline. The M-Line helps women who are low on money or who don't have insurance get free mammograms.
Every $100 raised funds one free mammogram. And the sorority raised a little over $200. That means two free mammograms and, potentially, two lives saved.
The Zeta's national philanthropy is fighting breast cancer.
