JACKSONVILLE, FL -- If Mayor John Peyton's proposed budget plan doesn't pass, what could happen to the city's public works services?
If Jacksonville residents now have to pay storm water fees, why pay for property tax increase?
Mayor Peyton answered these questions and many more, during his return visit to Good Morning Jacksonville.
News Anchors Phil Amato and Joy Purdy also asked the mayor about the escalating costs of the county courthouse, and how he feels about that "thumbs down" he received from the city's finance committee last week.
On this web page, you can watch 2 of those live segments with Mayor Peyton this morning.
The topic was public works, as the mayor was preparing for an open lunch with the public a few hours later focused on the same topic.
The mayor has planned several more visits with the GMJ team, including one Monday morning, August 3rd.
The topic then will be the Jacksonville Journey and the Jacksonville Children's Commission, though Mayor Peyton will take questions on anything having to do with the city's budget.
Be sure to tune in that morning during the newscasts.
