JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Police say two of the three men who went on an armed-robbery spree are in jail tonight, and two victims are recovering from gunshot wounds.

"The doctors say that I'm alive but it's a miracle. A miracle that I'm alive!" said one man who was shot through the back of his neck.

Speaking through a translator, a 59-year old immigrant from Colombia described how three young men stuck a gun in his face Saturday night and demanded cash.

When he fought back, the men pulled the trigger.

"And that's when he shot me through the neck!"

First Coast News is protecting the man's identity because one of the three suspects is still at large.

Police rushed to the Lighthouse Bay Apartments and arrested 18-year-olds Levantte Terry and Hiakeem Wright, and charged the teens with armed robbery.

"When the police went to the hospital to see me they told me that another three people were robbed the same day in 30-minutes," said the shooting victim.

Police say in one of those other armed robberies, a 16-year-old boy was shot twice in the chest. He's recovering at Shands Hospital. And though the apartment complex shows the welcome mat to those with a foreign tongue, for this Hispanic immigrant it is time to move.

A move, he says, to protect his family.

"We need to move because this is a really dangerous place!"
