JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Their story has obviously touched many people on the First Coast. Now a job offer, gifts of food and diapers donations are helping a family with triplets pull through extra tough times.

Brandy and Grady have five children, including triplets.

They moved to Jacksonville in hopes of a job opportunity. That feel through, they say.

Plus, they lost belongings in a fire.

They lived at the Salvation Army and finally got a small home, thanks to financial help.

Grady says he was making about $150 a week in a part-time job he'd managed to find near downtown.

Their refrigerator? A few hotdogs....a half gallon of milk...some butter and not much else...

Brandy was also down to three diapers, she said.

Their story on First Coast News inspired a flood of phone calls and emails.

Wayne, a business owner on the Westside, offered Grady a full-time job, which would almost quadruple the family income.

Kathy, who volunteers at the Mandarin Christ Church food pantry, gathered fresh food and canned goods to deliver to the family.

Plus, at the BE A HERO FOOD DRIVE Friday and Saturday, folks drove up with donations, including diapers, to give.

Watch the video to see the family's reaction to all the outpouring of compassion and donations.

If you'd still like to donate to the triplet family you can go to HERO CENTRAL.

First Coast News, in conjunction with United Way, will make sure the triplet family is well supplied.

Any extra items will go to other families in need.

You can also donate to the Christ Church food and clothing pantry in Mandarin. The phone number is 262-5588. The church is at 9791 Old St. Augustine Road.

The food bank is open the 2nd and 4th Saturdays each month.
