JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The Coast Guard rescued two people from a sinking fishing boat several miles offshore early Friday morning.
Authorities received a call for help from a 66-foot fishing boat, the Yvonne, just after 2 a.m.
A good samaritan also responded to the distress call. The Coast Guard took the stranded passengers back to shore where paramedics looked them over.
