
JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Jacksonville Mayor John Peyton is answering your questions about his new budget proposal for the city, on Good Morning Jacksonville.
Thursday morning, just before 6 a.m., he joined GMJ News Anchors Phil Amato and Joy Purdy in the First Coast News Studios.
Mayor Peyton addressed issues ranging from his planned property tax hike, to city pensions.

Mayor Peyton will join the morning team a half dozen more times throughout July and August, focusing on specific issues in his proposed plans to get Jacksonville out of its $60 million budget shortfall.
Next Monday, July 20, the mayor is scheduled to again be live on GMJ to discuss Jacksonville's parks, as well as community and senior centers.
