WASHINGTON, DC -- The House is due to release a massive health care overhaul bill today, amid grumblings about costs and an ultimatum from President Barack Obama.

A determined president took note yesterday of stalled progress on his domestic centerpiece while he was out of the country -- and says he's putting everybody on notice.

Obama says he knows Washington doesn't like making big changes, but this needs to be done.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she expects a House vote by the August recess.

But Pelosi also warned this is only the beginning, and with big differences over how to pay for the massive overhaul, she says more changes to the bill are likely.

By some estimates, the measure could cost $1 trillion over ten years, much of which would be spent to help people who can't afford care.
