JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The Commons is an apartment complex on Anniston Road.

"When I first moved in here this was a nice looking place," says Kim.

But now Kim and her neighbors are having second thoughts about the place they now call home.

"There's trash everywhere around here," says Misty.

Residents say the dumpsters have not been dumped in weeks and the trash is overflowing.

Kim says, "It is disgusting."

Residents say the one swimming pool that is available cannot be used because it is unsanitary.

"The pool is slimy green, we've only been able to use it three days this year," says Kim.

Adding to their frustration, they say management has been ignoring their complaints.

On Your Side tried to talk to the apartment manager and she said "No Comment."

The corporate office, which is listed at 12100 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, California, had no telephone listing.

Jacksonville's Municipal Code inspectors cited the complex for the condition of the pool. The complex has 18 days to clean it up.

An official with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation says the complex's license expired June 1st and the complex has yet to renew it.
