UNDATED (AP) -- Michael Jackson's spiritual adviser for 20 years says Jackson had a drug problem.
Deepak Chopra told NBC's "Today" show that Jackson was hooked on prescription meds thanks to doctors who "started" and "perpetuated" his dependence. Chopra says he and the Jackson family tried an intervention once, but it backfired. He says Jackson "isolated himself" from his family and Chopra.
