ATLANTA, GA --It will be hard to top the gift Kelly Falls is giving her dad this Father's Day.

She has always been a daddy's girl, but dear old dad had no idea just what that meant until now. As they wait together for their big moment at Piedmont Hospital, Gary Young feeling her daughter's adoration in a new way.

"Her mother and I divorced a long time ago," says Young. "A father wonders if you're children are going to love you afterward, and this is showing 'I still love my daddy.'"

On Friday morning, father and daughter will enter two separate operating rooms. Doctors at Piedmont Hospital will remove Gary Young's failing kidney and replace it with the ultimate gift from Kelly; her healthy kidney.

"When he said he was sick I didn't see no other way than to say, 'I'll help you,'" says Kelly. "I mean, if it wasn't for you and my mom I wouldn't be here, so why not give back?"

A year ago, Gary thought he was perfectly healthy. A routine checkup revealed his kidney was hardening, a result of high blood pressure.

Three months ago, doctors told him his health had deteriorated to the point that he needed a new kidney, and fast.

Gary's father offered. So did his brother and two daughters. Kelly was the best match.

"It hits home," says Gary. "I mean, it's a heartfelt 'thank you, what else can I do for you?' kind of a feeling."

As she listens to her father speak, tears flow from a loving daughter.

On Friday morning, she'll give so much more.

"I'm a daddy's girl," says Kelly. "My daddy is my world."
