JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Maurice Glover will be going to prison for attacking a JEA worker who was doing his job earlier this year disconnecting power to a home in Murray Hill.
Glover has been sentenced to five years for felony battery. Prosecutors say Glover kicked Michael Scott Smith in the head.
Smith, a 22 year JEA employee, is back on the job. Prosecutors handling the case say Smith still suffers physically from the brutal attack.
In court, co-workers of Smith attended the sentencing hearing to show their support.
